Olympus did not honor their warranty when it did not function and I tried to repair. I owned it less than one year.

LCD screen broke after extremely limited use. Was told it was under warranty after reporting the problem to the company. Told it would cost over $100 to fix after the camera was received by olympus. Was very rudely told it was my fault and to pay up or shut up. Total waste of time and a lot of money. Would avoid this product as the LCD screen is prone to being damaged very easily and you will soon be looking for another camera.

I just bought this camera to replace a camera that was stolen, and have to say that Olympus definitely makes the best cameras. Though many friends and family members have problems with difficult to program and use cameras, I have never had a problem with mine. This camera is lightweight, pretty, and takes an amazingly clear picture. The controls are easy to figure out and I like the software that comes with the camera.

The only negatives are you need to buy a memory card separately and the buttons are not made for large fingered people.

I have always liked Olympus cameras, but this one is great. I especially like the beauty feature. It automatically beautifies your image. The camera is great and it is a good deal.
